Who We Are

Started by a group of passionate Clatsop County, Astoria and Warrenton community members in 1979, Clatsop Care Center Health District has remained a mission-driven organization from the beginning. No other organization offers the range of specialized services we do. From In-Home Care to Assisted Living to Long-Term and Short-term skilled nursing to Memory care, our services are connected and enable clients and residents to transition between care programs as their needs change. I was very apprehensive about having my grandpa join any sort of retirement community; the news rarely says anything good about them. However this place was clean, well kept and well managed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and according to my grandpa, the other residents were welcoming and kind. He was happy there, and I’m glad that he was in a place where he had trained staff around in case he needed medical assistance.

If I had to choose a place for my parents to be and not have to be concerned about their care this would be the place.

Great place for elderly loved ones. They have in-home care available as well as a locked up Alzheimer’s unit. They also have a retirement center so they can handle all of your loved ones needs as care needs increase.
